INDIVIDUAL, COUPLES & FAMILY THERAPY
I am a strong proponent of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT); both evidence based approaches that focus on skill development and enhancing an individual's ability to manage their emotions and actions through greater insight and self-control. In addition, I am trained in Motivational Interviewing (MI), which is based on the assumption that we are the experts of ourselves and we know how to best address our needs and wants. I have additional training in Trauma Informed Care, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), Strategic Family Therapy, Love & Logic.
